Woman seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Allentown.

Officials say the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at 2nd and Union Street while she was crossing the roadway.

She was rushed to the hospital with multiple injuries.

Authorities say the driver stopped nearby and later spoke with police at the scene.
